Why Pray?

We pray because we believe the Lord wants to visit the Washington DC region with His power and glory, and He seeks a people who will prepare the way before Him: people who will offer a sacrifice of continual prayer with fasting to dig ditches and get ready in expectation of the rain of revival.
How is this different from other prayer meetings?
While there are many important needs we can pray for in our personal lives and our community (and we have spaces for that too), there is only one agenda for Fullness revival prayer: “Come, Holy Spirit.” We ask the King of glory to come into this city and establish his rule and reign in the hearts of people. We ask the Holy Spirit to pour out His presence and power across churches and bring millions into the saving knowledge and power of Christ.”

Weekly Prayer and Fasting
We desire to raise a continual altar of prayer with fasting to the Lord daily such that there are God's people in the DMV area who are on their knees everyday asking Him to visit the region with His glory and power. See our fasting guide for more details on fasting.
If you are interested in being a part of this, we ask that you consistently do the following.
- Select one day each week to pray and fast for revival. This may seem daunting, but there is grace if there is a willingness!
- Join the virtual prayer gathering (6:30am-7am) on the day of your fast (while this is primarily meant for those fasting that day, it is open to anyone).
